BVE Back In Business!
After a year in mothballs whilst we concentrated on other non-Discworld businesses, our daughter Millie and trying to sell off the Discworld beer business, we finally moved into new premises in January and, with a 1800sqft warehouse, found the space to start sorting out the years of collected Discworld stuff that we have gathered. The last year has had some interesting challenges for Paul as he battled a nasty liver condition and other demons, but that thankfully is under control if not cured.
Also, BVE has taken on another pair of hands to help organise the chaos, so we have had the time to start clearing some of the older stock that has been sitting around for far too long.
The sale of the beer business didn't come to a happy conclusion - we got close, but the deal failed at the last hurdle. That avenue is now no longer available for the forseeable future, which is a great shame. So, this isn't an announcement saying we are going to start making the beer again. It is giving people notice that we're out and about again and are planning on selling all the remaining Discworld stock we hold over the next few months and clearing out the remaining glassware, labels and some beers that are suitable for sale. These will be in rather small amounts and mostly available via this website which is currently being updated to show what's left.
Anyhoo, take care and if you are looking for something specific from the Discworld merchandise we made, or in general, do drop us a line. I have 5 large boxes of collectibles to get rid of and they are full of interesting and rare items.
